Aamir
Khan with his latest flick ‘PK’ has set
another record in the history of Indian cinema. His movie has become the
highest grossing film of all time in India. This movie has so far earned more
than Rs. 276 crore in just two weeks of its release. This thing has been made
sure by trade analyst Komol Nahta. He posts in his Twitter, he said,
“PK
becomes the highest grossing Hindi film ever with a net all-India total of Rs.
276.32 crore in just two weeks. O-U-T-S-T-A-N-D-I-N-G!”
Until
PK sets the new record, Aamir Khan’s earlier movie Dhoom:3 was the highest
grossing movie of all time with Rs. 265 crore. Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express
was in the second position with Rs. 258 crore in domestic market.
Aamar Khan has
become the only actor in Bollyood whose two movies (Dhoom:3 and PK) have earned
more than Rs 250 crore in domestic market. None of the Bollyood superstars has
this record.
Aamir and Anushka
starrer PK has reached the 200-crore milestone in just nine days. With this
movie, Aamir Khan has set a new record of becoming the actor to have a total of
three films in the super exclusive club.
