Salman
Khan is well known to his friends and fans for his benevolence and supportive
nature. He has once again caught the media attention after talking in support
of his friend Aamir Khan’s recently released flick, PK. Praising the Rajkumar Hirani directorial venture, he has posted
a message on his Twitter account where he has written, “Is P K not an
amazzziiiiing film?”
His
movie, PK, which deals with the concept
of Godmen, is now talk of the town after receiving negative reactions from certain
Hindutva groups- Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Religious groups are
smashing theatres that are screening the films and demanding a ban on this
movie. These protests have affected its collection in the last couple of days.
Filmmaker
Rajkumar Hirani, on behalf of his PK
team, issued a statement where he appealed to the protesters to see the film in
totality and not just isolated scenes. In this statement, they also said that
they did not have any intention to hurt anyone or to discriminate against any
religion.
Besides
big names like Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani, it also cats promising
stars like Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput. It was released on December
19.
