Two
arch-rival teams Liverpool and Everton is going to face each other in the 222nd
Merseyside derby match that will be played at Anfield. This match is scheduled
to kick off at 20:00 GMT. It is sure that both teams will fight for victory in
order to make the match memorable.
Midfielder,
Joe Allen, has been recovered from injury, but his inclusion in the squad is
highly depending on the decision of Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, who believes
that playing him at home to Everton may do more harm than good.
However,
the club will be deprived of the service of defender Mamadou Sakho who is still
recovering from hamstring injury. The good news is that Jon Flanagan is set to
make his comeback after long absence.
On
the other hand, Everton manager Roberto MartÃnez will leave no stone unturned
to get
the victory. He may include loan signing Lacina Traoré in the first eleven.
Everton
is facing the threat of not getting the service of defensive quartet Phil
Jagielka, Sylvain Distin, Antolin Alcaraz and Seamus Coleman. The uncertainty
of midfielders Ross Barkley and Steven Pienaar will raise question about the
performance of the club.
However,
Everton will try their best to win the match and break their losing streak as
they did not win in their last 13 Premier League visits to Anfield.
It
is more than a match for both the clubs. Victory at Anfield will help either of
the teams finishing in the top four of the Premier League point table and qualifying
for the Champions League this season.
