Shoulder
injury has forced Manchester United winger, Ashley Young, to be on the
sidelines for a spell, confirmed by David Moyes. The 28-year-old player picked
up the injury during Manchester United’s 2-1 defeat at home to Tottenham Hotspur on New Year’s Day.
The
English player injured
his shoulder after falling down awkwardly following a controversial
collision with Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. United boss David Moyes was
angry for not giving his side a penalty for the attempt that felled the winger.
Lloris
also claimed that referee Howard Webb’s decision of not giving a spot kick was “scandalous”.
This latest injury has come as a blow to the club as they are missing the
service of striker Robin van Persie who is suffering from a thigh injury.
