Demand for tablet PC is
increasing day by day. Keeping in mind about the growing tablet PC market, many
companies are joining to hold a little portion of share. Indian manufacturing
companies are not much behind in this race. However, they are producing low-cost
tablet devices thinking about the low income people.
Lava Mobiles, which is one
of the emerging electronics manufacturers in India, on Saturday announced the launch
its new Android v4.2 Jelly Bean tablets PC. It may hit the Indian stores in the
first week of May.
It will feature a
dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB memory which can be expanded via
microSD card, dual camera- 2.0-megapixel rear camera and front facing VGA
camera.
The most attractive part
of this tablet PC is perhaps its high capacity 3700 mAh battery and add-on
features such as Wi-Fi connectivity and HDMI output.
However, the company was
tight-lipped regarding the name of the tablet PC, screen size, type of display
panel and network connectivity. It is expected that the prize of this new
device will be within Rs. 10000.
