Former Pakistan cricketer, Wajahatullah Wasti, has come in support
of the discarded opening batsman, Imran Nazir. He wants Nazir to make his
return to the international level. Not only that but also he thinks that Nazir should
be considered for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2012, which will be held in Sri
Lanka in September.
The 30-year-old cricketer is
out of the Pakistan cricket team for many years but he is still
considered to be one of the most talented cricketers. Some legend cricketers
like Imran Khan and Ian Chappell always predicted
him for a great future.
It is very disappointment
to see him struggling hard to find a place in the national side. He has the
potential which remains not fulfilled.
Wasti also said that the
reason of damaging Nazir’s career was to give effort to become more flamboyant
player. He was successful as long as he played orthodox cricket shots.
Imran Nazir made his
international debut in 1999 against Sri Lanka.
