On 16th January 2011, the SSA results for the Recruitment 2010 were announced by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) Punjab. The written exams were held between 27-29 December in 2010. The examination results are now available online.

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan was created with an attempt to provide universalize elementary education. Besides basic education, it also focuses on elementary education of satisfactory quality with giving importance on education for life.

Indian government is giving more importance in education.
