Only few hours are left to get the Karnataka Panchayat election results which will be announced today (Tuesday 4th January 2011). People in India are excitedly waiting to know the latest results. The counting of votes of Taluka and Zilla Panchyat elections 2010 that took place at the respective taluka centres from 8 am are not finished yet. The results are expected to be release soon.

TV9 Kannada News Channel and Suvarna News 24X7 are showing live telecast of the Karnataka zilla, taluk panchayat election results.
It is heard that the ruling party, Bharathiya Janata Party BJP, is much ahead than other political party. However, the counting has not finished yet. So, nothing can be confirmed who will win the election.
A total number of 1013 Zila panchayat seats and 3659 Taluk panchayat seats are spread across 30 districts.
