Toyota Canada Projected All Time Monthly Sales Record in April

It seems that Canadian auto market has gone through a good time in the month of April. In my earlier article, I wrote about Subaru Canada having seen best ever April sales. Now, it is Toyota Canada who also set a new monthly record in terms of sales. Toyota Canada sold 25,441 Toyota and Lexus cars and trucks in April.

Toyota sold 17,533 passenger cars in April, up 20.4 per cent from last

year - a besat-ever month.

Toyota truck sales of 6,350 in April were up 18.1 per cent year over

year - a new April record.

US auto market is now going through a bad time being affected by the country’s economic recession. Reports have it that the North American sales of the global auto makers are not going well. SO, it is a surprising that Toyota and Subaru are getting huge response in Canada. So, it is certain that General Motors is going to face a strong challenge from Toyota in holding on its top place in the global market.
