HA! HA! HA! REALLY FUNNY FUNSY! The Yahoo Answer Service: What is the purpose?

In December of last year Yahoo launched its new service Yahoo answers. It is a service where a person can ask a question and post it in the website. Then different people will give answer to the question. Each of the answers also has a voting system. The questions are divided into different categories such as: education, arts, politics, dining out and so on. I think it is really a nice service. If used properly, it can be another new wikipedia. However, after surfing the net and reading a few reviews on this new service I found out some problems. One of the major problems is that there are many people who do not take the service seriously. They ask silly questions which has no accurate answer. For example, what was the meanest thing that you have ever done to a person? This is really funny. After seeing the answer service I felt very good because it has opened another possibility of getting new information and more communication between people but now I agree with blogger Mike Love that the service is not achieving the goal for which it was created. I visited the website and found a list of undecided questions which includes:
Should I play with a couple?
What was the meanest thing that you ever did to another person?
Now what is the purpose of asking these type of silly questions. However, out of all these questions I found this one really funny:
Why does Super man wear his underwear on top of his clothes?
