Pakistan
has finally agreed to play a full fledged series against Bangladesh. This series
consists of three ODIs, one T20I and two Tests. It is scheduled to start with
the first ODI on April 17. The Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur will
host the limited-over matches while the first Test will be played in Khulna on
April 28 and the second Test in Dhaka on May 6.
According
to the schedule
released by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), Pakistan will leave for
Bangladesh on 13 April. After coming to Dhaka, they will play a practice match
in Fatullah on 15 April. It is yet to be announced who they will play against
in the practice match.
However,
the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) agreed to send their team to Bangladesh after the
BCB decided to pay the PCB $325,000 as compensation.
It is
expected to be a very tough competition between the two teams. Bangladesh
cricket team will get the home advantage. They need to improve their position
in the ranking ahead of the upcoming Champions Trophy and World Cup.
