West Indies beats Pakistan 150 runs

The West Indies cricket team has registered their first victory in the ICC World Cup 2015 after beating Pakistan by 150 runs. Losing the toss, the Caribbeans were invited to bat first and scored 310 for the loss of six wickets.
In reply, Pakistan scored 160 runs losing all wickets. They lost four wickets for just one run in the first 3.1 overs. It is considered the worst ever start in an ODI by any team. Sohaib Maqsood and Umar Akmal scored 50 and 59 runs respectively. Their effort could not help Pakistan to avoid the defeat.
For the second time West Indies scored more than 300 runs. Dinesh Ramdin top scored with 51. Darren Bravo scored 49 runs. He could have scored more runs if he was not forced to retire with a torn left hamstring. Andre Russell thrilled the audience with his 13-ball 42 innings. They scored 115 runs in the last ten overs.
Both Jerome Taylor and Andre Russell took three wickets each while Sulieman Benn took two wickets. The rest of the wickets were taken by Jason Holder and Darren Sammy.
With this victory, West Indies has kept their hope alive of playing in the second round. Pakistan has no other option but winning all the remaining matches if they want to move into the next level.
