New Zealand beats Pakistan by 119-run in the second ODI

Beating Pakistan by 119 runs in the second ODI at Napier on Tuesday, New Zealand completed a 2-0 series whitewash. Winning the toss, the Kiwis decided to bat first and scored 369 runs for the loss of five wickets. Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor scored a century each which helped the host nation to set a target that would not be reached by their opponent team.
Kane Williamson scored 112 runs from 88 balls, with 14 boundaries and one six. On the other hand, Ross Taylor played a 70-ball 112 innings where he hit two sixes and one boundary less than Williamson.
After coming to chase New Zealand’s target, Pakistan’s opening batsmen made a good start. Mohammad Hafeez and Ahmed Shehzad scored 111 runs in the first wicket stand. Ahmed Shehzad was the first wicket to fall. He scored 55 runs off 62 balls with eight fours. Mohammad Hafeez was the highest run scorer with 86 runs.

Middle and lower-order batsmen could not take the total further. Pakistan cricket team was bowled out for 250 runs in 43.1 overs.
