Sunil Gavaskar supports Shikhar Dhawan in his bad time

Indian cricket legend, Sunil Gavaskar, has come in support of Shikhar Dhawan when he is passing tough time in his career. This left-handed opener is out of form. He failed to do well in the recently concluded Test series against Australia. His poor form also preceded the ongoing triangular series that features host Australia and England.
In his column published in the Times of India, he wrote why it is important for team India to keep faith in Dhawan. According to Gavaskar, Dhawan is capable of taking the game away from the opposition. He also said that Dhawan will have to show patience on the field that will help him settle down and make big scores.

In his column, he also showed the advantage of having a left and right-hand combination at the top of the order.
