Shakib Al Hasan is now top all-rounder in all three formats

By regaining top position in the ICC’s latest ranking for ODI, Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib Al Hasan has become the top ranked all-rounder in all three formats of the game. He is the first Bangladeshi cricketer to have achieved this rare feat. Due to his good performance in the recently concluded Test and ODI series against Zimbabwe, he could achieve this new milestone.
According to the latest ICC rankings published on Monday, Shakib Al Hasan has won the top rankings of all-rounder in ODI and Twenty20 Internationals with 403, and 377 rating points leaving behind Pakistan’s Mohammad Hafeez.
He has maintained his dominance in Test format with 398 points, 57 points ahead of South African bowling all-rounder Vernon Philander.

He was the key player in Bangladesh’s 3-0 and 5-0 whitewash of the Zimbabwe series. He took 29 wickets and scored two centuries and a half-century in all three formats. It is expected that he will play a vital role during Bangladesh’s upcoming World Cup campaign.
