Has UAE made world’s largest cricket bat?

UAE is on a mission to make their entry in the Guinness Book of World Record with a cricket bat that is expected to be announced as the ‘Largest Cricket Bat’ in the world. This cricket bat which is compared to a 10-storeid tall building was unveiled at the ICC Academy to promote and celebrate the biggest cricket event. This 32-metre long and four-metre wide cricket bat was made by a leading pay TV network.
This bat weighs 950 kilograms and is almost 32 times longer than a standard cricket bat. If it is placed horizontally then it will take as much place as seven cars take when parked bumper to bumper. The reason behind this activity is to show UAE cricket fans’ passion for cricket.
This mammoth cricket bat was revealed by Hamad Malik, Chief Marketing Officer of OSN, Andy Warkman, VP Sports and Production at OSN, David East, CEO of Emirates Cricket Board and the UAE national cricket team’s coach, Aqib Javed, and star players.

Throughout the tournament, this bat will be on display in Dubai
