Rumor is doing the round
that Aamir Khan is going to play the role of a wrestler in Nitesh Tiwari’s Dangal.
If the reports are to be
believed then the film
will be based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Phogat, who is the father of
Indian women wrestlers Geeta and Babita Kumari Phogat. It is also reported that
in the film, he will be seen encouraging his daughters to take up the sport.
The actor, who is known as
Mr. Perfectionist, is doing hard training for two hours on a daily basis to get
the real look for the film. In order to give his body the shape of a wrestler,
he has hired a fitness expert from Hollywood
In the past, a lot of
films were made based on sports like Chak De India, Mary Kom and Bhag
Milkha Bhag, and many sports based films are in the pipeline for release in
