Ahead
of the Big Bash League (BBL) match against the Sydney Sixers that will be held
on Sunday, the Adelaide Strikers has picked Bangladeshi all-rounder, Shakib Al
Hasan, to replace the injured captain, Johan Botha.
The
good news is that Strikers spinner, Jon Holland, has made his inclusion to the
squad after being declared fit by the BBL technical committee. He will take the
place of Harry Allanby who replaced the unfit player.

Al Hasan, who is currently the world’s number fourth Twenty20 all-rounder, will
be contracted to the Strikers squad as a replacement
overseas player for Botha. Botha will regain his place after recovering
from injury and if declared fit.

Al Hasan is the first player from Bangladesh to play in Australia’s competitive
tournament.
