Chelsea will compete with Arsenal to sign Antoine Griezmann

Chelsea will face Arsenal in a competition to sign the French footballer Antoine Griezmann, who is currently playing in a Spanish club Real Sociedad. The Blues are desperately looking for buying a player to fill the gap left by Juan Mata who has signed a four-year deal with Manchester United. It is reported that they are preparing to launch a bid for the highly rated Frenchman. On the other hand, the Gunners are also expecting to buy a striker to strengthen their front-line.
There is no doubt that Chelsea will be ahead in the race as they have already £37 million in their pocket which they have got after selling Mata.
The 22-year-old Antoine Griezmann plays as a winger but he can also play in the striker position. He has scored 12 goals in just 18 La Liga games this season.

Chelsea is also expecting to sign Basle’s Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah as a possible replacement for Mata.
