Bollywood
is mourning for the death of veteran actor Farooque Sheikh who died of heart
attack at the age of 65 in Dubai on late Friday night. This death news has been
confirmed by Farooque’s long-time co-star and friend Deepti Naval.

body will be brought to Mumbai for the last rites after completing the
relevant formalities in Dubai. He had interacted with Naval two months ago at
the Sharjah book fair where he was reported to be in a fit condition.
This
talented actor was born on March 25, 1948. He started his acting career in 1973
with the classic ‘Garm Hava’ and then
he rose on to become prominence both in parallel and mainstream cinema. He will
be known to his fans for his roles in Satyajit Ray’s “Shatranj Ke Khiladi”, “Umrao
Jaan”, “Chashme Budoor”, “Saath Saath”, “Kissise Na Kehna”, “Noorie”,
and “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani”.
He
is well known for his great contribution to parallel cinema, low-budget high
quality movies, theatre and television.
