Sachin Tendulkar decides to retire after 200-Test milestone



India’s most prolific batsman, Sachin Tendulkar, has taken decision to retire from international cricket after playing his 200th Test match against West Indies next month. With this match, it is going to be an end of his glorious 24-year cricket career. So, millions of fans will not deprive them from watching Tendulkar playing his 200th Test match.
In his long cricket career, the 40-year-old Mumbai batsman has achieved many records. He is the highest run scorer in both format of cricket game scoring 15,837 runs in 198 tests and 18,426 runs in 463 one-day internationals. He is also the holder of most centuries in both formats- 51 centuries in Test and 49 centuries in ODI.
He started his test cricket career for India in 1989 when he was a 16-year-old boy. He has also played most number of Test and ODI matches. Now, he is just two test matches away to reach his new milestone of playing 200-Test match.
He has already taken his retirement from ODI cricket. Legend cricketers of different countries have congratulated Sachin Tendulkar and said many good things about him. There is no doubt that his absence in the national squad will never be replaced.
