Hema Malini is given P.C. Chandra award



The well-known Bollywood actress and former Rajya Sabha member, Hema Malini, has been given the P.C. Chandra award for her contribution to Indian cinema. She was conferred this prestigious award by P.C. Chandra Group managing director Prashant Chandra at a scintillating function in the Science City auditorium.
According to Chandra, Hema Malini is one of the most successful and greatest actresses in the history of Indian cinema.
This beautiful actress was seen in the award giving ceremony in a sari and a shining neckpiece. She said, “More special to me as it has been given when Indian cinema is celebrating its centenary”.
Since its commence, this award is given to legendary singer, Manna De, late Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, lyricist Gulzar, noted writer Mahasweta Devi and famous cricketer Sourav Ganguly. 
There is no doubt that Hema Malini deserves this prestigious award. Since her debut in B-Town she has been continuing her acting career. Hope she will give more work in future.
