Bangladesh cricket team had to go under criticism after
losing their first test match against Zimbabwe. They lost the match by 335-run in Harare. It disappointed the Bangladesh Cricket Board
(BCB) and their fans. After their performance in Sri Lanka, hardly anyone could expect to see their poor
performance against weak opponent team Zimbabwe. Their performance was beyond satisfactory.
It seemed that Bangladeshi
batsmen had to struggle hard to face the Zimbabwe seamers. In both innings, they were bowled out for
less than 150 runs. Senior players also did not show enough responsibility.
The board also asked the injured
players to return back to home and become fully fit. Players who were not
fully fit could not give their best form. Their lack of fitness also affected
the total team performance.
Shafiul Islam and Ziaur
Rahman have been recalled in the squad to replace Rubel Hossain and Shahadat
Hossain.
It is expected that Bangladesh cricket team will learn from their mistakes and
try to make their strong come back in the next test match.
It should be mentioned
here that Zimbabwe team performed well in their home ground. So, they
will try to continue their winning streak and seal the series victory.
