Smaller tablet PCs will overtake Bigger tablet PCs

It looks like that gadget lovers are giving more focus on smaller tablets rather than big-sized tablets. Even, it is also predicted that smaller tablets may take control over the big-sized tablets in 2013. The most important reason behind this prediction is that the use of smaller-sized tablets has been increasing and at the same time, people are showing less interest in big-sized tablets.
Giving importance on the demand of the users, most of the companies are now focusing on making 7-inch and 7.9-inch tablets. Shipments of these two different sizes of tablets have increased from 12 million to 14 million. On the other hand, shipments of 9.7-inch have fallen from 7.4 million to 1.3 million compared to the previous month.
Apple’s iPad is still leading the market, but its smaller version named the iPad mini is expected to decrease the sale of the full-size iPad.
Many companies like Samsung, Amazon, Google, Asus and Acer are developing more models in the 7-inch to 8.9-inch range and many companies coming into the tablet market with smaller-sized tablet PCs.
No doubt, tablet PC market will be more crowded and competitive in the future.
