Brian Lara is the brand ambassador of the Chittagong Kings



Chittagong Kings, one of the seven franchises of the Bangladesh Premier League, has signed a three-year contract with Brian Lara as a brand ambassador. To complete other official formalities, former West Indian cricketer arrived in Dhaka in November.
The franchise owner, Sameer Quader Chowdhury, told ESPNcricinfo, “I am excited and honoured to announce that Brian Lara has agreed to join us as the brand ambassador of the Chittagong Kings.”
As a duty of his new role as the brand ambassador, he was the part of the delegation of the Chittagong franchise at the auction on December 7. When the second season of the tournament will kick off on the ground, he will be seen with the franchise during the BPL campaign.
According to Chowdhury, Lara will be present for their corporate dealings and marketing activities. Besides, he will keep himself busy in doing social work and be involved in team’s activities and selection.
Former Australian players Michael Bevan and Dean Jones were part of the Chittagong Kings as batting coach and technical director respectively in the first season of the BPL.
