Xolo X900: Intel’s first smartphone in partnership with Lava


With the launch of its first ever smartphone, Xolo X900, the well-known chip maker, Intel, has made its entrance into the smartphone market in India. They joined hands with Indian handset maker Lava to bring out this smartphone.
Both Intel and Lave announced their partnership at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February this year.
The Xolo X900 is Intel’s first Android based smartphone in India. It will run on Android Gingerbread 2.3 which is upgradable to Android 4.0 operating system.
It is powered by 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2460 CPU with Hyper Threading technology.
It comes with a 4.03-inch high resolution LCD display which supports 1024 x 600 resolution (295 PPI). This smartphone also comes with a dual camera. It has an 8-megapixel rear facing camera with flash that can capture more than 10 pictures in less than a second. It’s 1.3 megapixel front facing camera can help the user to capture his or her photo and take video.
The biggest advantage of this smartphone is its storage capacity. It has 16 GB internal storage. Other features include are HSPA+ connectivity up to 21Mbps, HDMI out and NFC built-in.
The price of Xolo X900 is Rs 22,000. It is cheap compared to other brand smartphones that are available in the market.
