Owais Shah replaces Shane Warne in the Rajasthan Royals

England batsman, Owais Shah, has been signed by one of the IPL franchises, Rajasthan Royals, as a replacement for spin wizard, Shane Warne.

Shane Warne, who was once the captain and coach of Rajasthan Royals, had taken retirement from all formats of cricket. He played for the Royals in the first four seasons of the IPL. Rahul Dravid will lead the side in his absence.

Owais Shah is an experienced player. He played for Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Daredevils and Kochi Tuskers Kerala in the previous seasons of the cash-rich event and earned experience of playing in the Indian condition and soil.

He has also appeared in 17 Twenty20 internationals for England and also scored a half-century.

Under the leadership of Shane Warne, Rajasthan Royals won the title in the inaugural season of Indian Premier League (IPL). Now, they are hoping to win the title for the second time.

It is the time to see if Owais Shah can successfully replace Shane Warne. Can he help his team getting the title once again?
