Ashok Dinda gets recall in the Indian Squad

The Bengal pacer, Ashok Dinda, has made it to the 15-man Indian squad that will leave for Bangladesh to play the Asia Cup cricket tournament beginning from 11 March 2012.

It has been almost two years since Ashok Dinda last played for team India. He last played for India in the Asia Cup that took place in Sri Lanka where he played against the host team on 22 June 2010.

It has become a big challenge for him to prove his talent and become a permanent member of team India.

Ashok Dinda, who came at the center of attention for his performance for Kolkata Knight Riders in the inaugural season of Indian Premier League, has worked hard and improved a lot on strength and accuracy.

He has taken fifty nine wickets in the current first class season and it is the proof of his improvement. It seems that he will not let the team to feel the absence of Zaheer Khan who has been rested for his injury.

Pace bowling action was never strength of Indian cricket team. Even, we cannot see any good pace bowler coming from this country. May be Ashok Dinda could fill up this gap.
