Flipkart.com, well known e-commerce website in India, is offering the Samsung Wave II S8530 in India at a price of Rs. 19,000 with a 1 year warranty.
The Samsung Wave II S8530 is the upgrade version of the first Wave S8500. The upgraded version brought some changes in both hardware and software segments.
The Samsung Wave II S8530 has some similarities with its first version and these are- the 5MP camera, 720p video recording, Samsung’s own Bada operating system, version 1.2, 1GHz processor and ships with 2GB internal storage.
The major change of the upgraded version is its screen. It sports a 3.7-inch S-LCD display with a resolution of 480 X 800 pixels. It is much better than the previous Super AMOLED display. Its bigger display will be beneficial to the users for watching visual media.
With the use of a micro SD card, memory can be expanded up to 32GB. Its connectivity option includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPRS and USB. It has a scratch-resistant layer on its screen and an oleophobic one. Oleophobic should help the screen from not blotching badly with fingerprints.
It has a standard Li-Ion 1500 mAh that will provide a talk time of up to 8 hours on 2G network and of 6 hours on 3G. It respectively provides 800 and 600 hours standby time on 2G and 3G networks.
