Hyundai i10 has become the most fuel efficient petrol car in the compact car segment in India. Moreover, this popular Hyundai hatchback model has been rated the best-seller car in the category of ‘over 1 liter of capacity’.

Hyundai i10, powered by 1.2 litre Kappa engine, marked an impressive mileage of 19.81 km per liter of petrol. Besides its fuel efficient engine, the hatchback compact car is also well known as an environment friendly model.

Its popularity among the car enthusiasts of India is visible in its 149,242 units sold in 2009-10 financial year in India, and thus, creating new record for the ‘over 1 liter of capacity’ segment.

It is a big achievement for Hyundai i10, a model that was launched at a crucial time when the world economy was struck by recession and gained significant success in the recession-hit market.
