Samsung is the leading company in South Korea and in Seoul
Yesterday, there was a change in senior management and Samsung electronics has a new CEO and also a new chief operating officer and COO. It seems that the appointment of new COO has abducted more attention because the new Chief Operating Officer is Jay Y. Lee. He is the son of former chairman Lee Kun-hee. This is the second change in senior management this year. The latest change came in January.
I am not sure about the reason of such move but according to a report of Reuters this change can help the company to earn more profit in 2010.
