Philadelphia International Auto Show 2007: 250,000 to 275,000 Visitors?

The Philadelphia International Auto Show is one of the major auto shows in the world. This year, it is going to be visited by thousands of people.

Business Journals reported:

Between 250,000 to 275,000 are expected to attend this year's show, which is owned and produced by the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia.

The event pours $30 million into the city's economy each year and is expected to influence between $3 billion and $4 billion worth of vehicle-buying decisions over the next 12 months, ADAGP Executive Director Kevin Mazzucola said.

"We find that on average, over the last three to four years close to 40 percent of all of the new vehicles sold in our market area are influenced by the show," Mazzucola said. "That is why the show is so important to the marketplace."
