China’s success in Automobile export

Once again China has proved that it is one of the biggest manufacturers in the world. In the first quarter of this year China’s car export has exceeded its goal. It exported more than 62000 cars. Compared to last year it has increased 139%- definitely a great success for the automobile industry of China. According to Monster and Critics from January to March of this year China exported 62,628 units of vehicles which include: 16,813 sedans and 565 land rovers, and so on. Out of this, 27% were passenger cars and most of them were exported to Russia, Middle East and Southeast Asia. The total export was worth 647 million dollars. The Chinese government has ambitious plans for its automobile sector. It is expecting a 40% growth on year to year basis till 2010. If things go well planned then no doubt China will be one of the biggest automobile producers in the world within the next two decades.
