AHM Mustafa Kamal,
President of the International Cricket Council (ICC), will perhaps face the
threat of being sacked from his position after making a bitter comment over
poor umpiring in the second quarter-finals match between India and Bangladesh at the MCG on Thursday
night.
His comment
will surely make the game’s governing body upset. Kamal, who is also the
planning minister, will consider himself lucky because he has not been thrown
out yet. After the end of the second quarter-finals match between Bangladesh and India , he blamed the on-field
umpires for controversial decisions and said that he would resign if necessary.
His comment caused uproar.
No doubt, actions will be
taken against him by the ICC for his unsubstantiated comments. Let’s see what
the top ICC officials will decide about him.
