It
looks like that movie goers very soon can see the much anticipated on screen
chemistry between Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone. Rumor has it that they will
work together in Yash Raj Films’ “Sultan” that will be directed by Ali Abbas
Zafar.
Shooting
of this film was reportedly slated to go on floors this year as it was aiming
to release during Eid 2016, but due to Salman’s packed schedule for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Bajrangi Bhaijaan the shooting was
pushed further.
A
lot of rumors were created regarding the casting
of the female lead role of the film. It is speculated that Katrina Kaif and
Anushka Sharma were approached for the same role before Deepika Padukone. It
was also reported that Deepika repeatedly turned down the offer as she was
pretty close to Shah Rukh Khan. However, she denied the rumor saying she would
love to work with him.
Other
reports claimed that the “Kick” star was so impressed with the script that he without
any delay agreed to do this sports based film.
