Can Pakistan defeat India in the ICC World Cup?

Pakistan cricket team has not won any single match against their arch rival India in the ICC World Cup from1992 to 2011 and this is the thing that is giving them pain. There is no doubt that India would go through the same agony if they were in the position of Pakistan.

Both India and Pakistan faced each other in the World Cup five times and Pakistan lost in all of them. So, it is natural to rise the question in the minds of the supporters if Pakistan be able to win their first match over India in their sixth meeting in this mega event.

It is really hard to answer this question. Even the most iconic Pakistani cricketers do not have a clue. Even, Imran Khan led Pakistan cricket team which won the World Cup title in 1992 failed to defeat team India.

Inzamam-ul-Haq, who was the captain of the Pakistan cricket team in 1999 World Cup, said that their team was much stronger than India, but could not win the match against India. This defeat still haunts him. As it is the last World Cup for Misbah-ul-Haq, he will give his best to achieve the victory that Inzamam could not.

Both teams will face each other on their first match on February 15.
