Sanju Samson becomes fourth cricketer from Kerala to represent the country

After being called up to the national squad, Sanju Samson has become the fourth cricketer from Kerala. The 19-year-old player has been named as the wicket-keeper batsman in the 17-member squad announced for both five-match ODI series and a T20 match against England.
Players from Kerala who wore blue jersey in the past are Tinu Yohanan, Abey Kuruvilla and S. Sreesanth. Except Kuruvilla, who played for Mumbai, the other two players represented the Kerala state cricket team.
Sanju Samson is very much happy for his selection in the national squad. The big challenge for this young cricketer is to cement his place in the Indian cricket squad showing his skill.
In 2011, he made his debut in the Kerala senior team. In the Indian Premier League (IPL), he plays for Rajasthan Royals franchise along with local and foreign players.
