Chennai Super Kings may get Michael Hussey using ‘Right to match’ card

Ahead of the seventh edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Chennai Super Kings have keep hold of their five key players. They are MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and Dwayne Bravo. Now, the franchise will have only one ‘Right to match’ card to get another player at the auction. Now, fans are eagerly waiting to see whom they get using this card. They have a lot of talented players but among them Michael Hussey is the most probable player to be chosen.
Michael Hussey, who retired from international cricket in January 2013, was the leading run-scorer in the IPL 2013 with 733 runs at a strike-rate of 129.50. He has been performing very well in the Big Bash League (BBL). As of January 11, 2014, he scored 228 runs in six matches for Sydney Thunder and became the third highest-run getter after Aaron Finch (262) and Simon Katich (243).

His age will be given much importance while choosing him at the IPL auction. His age is nearing 39. Playing 46 IPL matches, he has scored 1,691 runs at an average of 44.50, including one century and 12 half-centuries. Looking at his records, Chennai Super Kings should not think second time to select him at the auction.
