Arsenal is facing challenge from Benfica to get Alvaro Morata in the club

Benfica has become a big barrier for Arsenal in their process of signing Alvaro Morata on loan as their competitor has already offered €7million for the Real Madrid striker. It is sure that Arsenal will have to spend more money if they want to get Morata, who is now being considered as a first choice for Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, in their club to feel the gap left by Theo Walcott.
According to Spanish TV show, El Chiringuito de Jugones, Benfica wants to sign the player on a permanent deal and for that they are ready to cost €7million. However, Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has denied of doing any business in the January transfer window, but it is thought that Arsenal was almost close to do the deal with Morata as a loan striker after discussions with Real bosses.

It seems that Morata wants to move to another club to get more chance to play.
