In
the recently announced ICC ODI rankings, Virat Kohli has become the highest-placed
Indian batsman by retaining his second position with 859 points. Skipper Mahendra
Singh Dhoni and Shikhar Dhawan are other Indian players who have maintained
their place among the first ten ODI batsmen with sixth and tenth spots
respectively. This list
is dominated by South Africa’s AB de Villiers who is at the top position with
872 points.
India
has become the top ranked ODI team with 120 ratings points. Australia could sustain
their second position with 114 points. They are following by England and South
Africa.
Thanks
to his good performance in the recently concluded five-match ODI series against
Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi where he became the leading run scorer, Mohammad Hafeez achieved
a career-best ranking of 16th.
Indian
bowler Ravindra Jadeja has made his inclusion among the top ten ICC ODI bowlers
list. He has gained 6th position while Ravichandran Ashwin is ranked
17th. Pakistani spinner Saeed Ajmal is continuing his dominance in
the bowling list.
Bangladeshi
all-rounder has lost his top position to Pakistani player Mohammad Hafeez. He
is now in second position with 376 points. He has also lost his position in the
Test all-rounder rankings also.
