Arsenal regains their top position with a 1-0 win at Newcastle

Arsenal football club has regained their top position at the Premier League point table after claiming a 1-0 win at Newcastle thanks to Olivier Giroud’s lone strike. Olivier Giroud scored his first goal after spending seven matches goalless. It has become a big challenge for the Gunners to continue their dominance in the point table as they are being chased down by clubs like Manchester City and Chelsea as they are second and third ranked team with one point difference between them. Chelsea is two points less than Arsenal while Manchester City is trailing the top-ranked team by one point.
In their last match, Chelsea defeated Liverpool by 2-1 margin and with this victory they kept the pressure on the Gunners.

Eden Hazard and Samuel Eto’o scored for their team to secure the fourth consecutive home win.
