HP recently announced SlateBook
10 x2 which is probably the second Android-based tablet PC from the company. Its
“10” refers that it has a 10.1-inch screen. It will run on Android 4.2.2 operating
system which is the very latest version of Google’s mobile operating system. This
model will have a 1.8GHz Nvidia Tegra 4 quad-core processor.
HP’s first Android-based
tablet PC was HP Slate 7. It was sold for just $170. It is expected that the
SlateBook 10 x2 is likely to be more expensive than Slate 7 due to its larger
screen. It is thought that SlateBook 10 will probably increase the possibility
that HP will include a keyboard dock for the tablet.
Some of the details
of the tablet PC have come out to the public when someone most probably an HP
employee benchmarked a prototype with AnTuTu.
This new model may help
the company to compete with other companies existing in the market.
