Bollywood star Kajol will once again collaborate
with director-producer Karan Johar in
his upcoming movie Student of the Year. This will be Karan’s first
directorial project since 2010 hit My Name is Khan which also featured
Kajol in the female lead role.
However, this time, in Student of the Year, Kajol will be seen in a dance number. The movie
casts 3 new faces: Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. Alia Bhatt
is the daughter of renowned Bollywood director-producer Mahesh Bhatt. Alia’s
elder sister Pooja Bhatt also graced the big screen.
Kajol will dance to the
tunes of 80’s popular Pakistani pop singer Nazia Hassan’s song Disco Deewane.
No doubt, Kajol’s appearance will add some star attractions to the movie which
is jointly produced by Karan Johar and star actor Shahrukh Khan. Music by
Vishal-Shekhar, the movie is slated for release on 19 October 2012.
