Iker Casillas is looking for 100 international victories

The final match of Euro 2012 is going to be an important match for Spanish goalkeeper and captain, Iker Casillas. If Spain can defeat Italy in the final match then his team will not only win the trophy but also Iker Casillas will reach the milestone of 100 victories with his national team.
Perhaps, Iker Casillas is going to be the first player to have reached the milestone of 100 victories with his national team. No doubt, his teammates will try their best to get a victory against the tough competitor Italy.
With 99 victories beside his name, the Spanish captain has become the player with most international wins. Now, the victory against Italy will give birth to a new history that was untouched by any player around the world.
The 31-year-old could already celebrate the achievement if the fate of the match against Portugal in the semi-final round was not decided in penalty shoot-out. But FIFA do not count penalty shoot-out matches as defeats or wins.
Casillas, under whom Spain won the Euro 2008 trophy, is hoping to win the title for the second time in his career and reach the milestone of becoming the first player to win 100 international matches.
