Sahara India Pariwar to invest in Bangladesh

Bangladesh is becoming an important place for setting up any kind of business. That is why, wealthy businessmen across the world are showing their interest to invest in this country. Before we saw India’s one of the largest telecommunication company, Airtel coming into Bangladesh for business. Now, we can see India’s largest company, Sahara India Pariwar, to invest $100 to $125 million in its first project in Bangladesh.
The chairman of the Sahara India Pariwar, Subrata Roy Sahara, said at a press briefing at Ruposhi Bangla Hotel that to invest money in this country, they would set up a company named, Sahara Matribhumi Unnoyan Corporation Limited. They have several proposed projects at their hands.
It seems that they are very much interested in investing in housing sector. They are planning to build a modern housing estate for low-income group people under the ‘New Dhaka’ project and for this they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
