Indian cricket team will play a T20 match against South Africa

Indian cricket team left for South Africa on Wednesday to play a Twenty20 International match against the host nation. This match will be played at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on March 30.

This match has been organized to celebrate 150 years of Indian settlement in South Africa and it is going to be an annual fixture.

After the recently concluded Asia Cup cricket tournament, Indian cricket team lead by Mahendra Singh Dhoni attended at the felicitation function of retired batsman Rahul Dravid at a hotel last evening before proceeding to South Africa.

Robin Uthappa has been included in the squad as the replacement for Sachin Tendulkar.

Just after coming back from South Africa, the Indian players will start playing in the cash-rich cricket tournament, IPL, which is scheduled to start from April 4. It will continue until May 27.

The opening ceremony of the fifth edition of IPL will take place on April 3.
