Can Sachin Tendulkar score 100th international century?

The four-nation Asia Cup cricket tournament has given the senior Indian batsman, Sachin Tendulkar, not only to score his 100th international hundred but also to improve his position in the ICC ranking for the ODI batsmen.

In his 23-year cricket career, he has scored 99 international centuries, including 51 Test and 48 ODI centuries. He is just one century short from 100th international ton. The 38-year-old veteran batsman has not got any century since the last year’s ICC Cricket World Cup.

His position in the ICC ranking for the ODI batsmen is 29th, which is the lowest in his career since December 1991. Once he had dominated the batting list ranking at the top position.

In the recently concluded Australia series, Indian cricket team showed very poor performance. They lost the test series against the host team. Sachin Tendulkar was out of form.

Sachin Tendulkar is one of the few senior players in the Indian cricket team. He is at the edge of his career. One of his compatriots, Rahul Dravid, recently announced his retirement after Australia tour. Now, cricket fans are eyeing to the little master.

The question is that if he can reach his 100-century milestone. India will start their Asia Cup campaign on March 13 against Sri Lanka at Dhaka.

Let’s see if Tendulkar can shine with the bat.
