Suresh Raina is hopeful of a “different cricket” in tri-series

Ahead of the upcoming tri-series in Australia, the youngster, Suresh Raina, has said that his team will show a “different cricket” in the shorter format of the game.

He is optimistic about his team’s good performance in the tri-series that features India, Australia and Sri Lanka. It is scheduled to start from February 5.

The touring team lost the recently concluded Test series by 4-0 at the hands of the host team. It was their second successive defeat on abroad after losing by a similar margin against England last year.

According to him, poor batting performance was the main reason behind India’s defeat. Senior players failed to give their best against the host team. Their bad performance led them to a defeat.

He also said that it would not have any impact in the shorter version of the game. They will have to depend on youngsters for their victory. The defending champion will try their best to win the tri-series and take revenge of their Test defeat.
