Bangladesh Cricket Board announced T20 and ODI Squad against the West Indies

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) selectors have picked players for one-off Twenty20 international and 3-match ODI series against the West Indies. West Indies’ tour of Bangladesh will start with two warm-up matches that will be played on October 7 and 9 at the Narayanganj Osmani Stadium in Fatullah.

This home series is very important as it will be played under new captain and vice-captain named Mushfiqur Rahim and Mohammad Mahmudullah Riyad. Wicketkeeper-batsman, Mushfiqur Rahim, will lead both sides.

The major exclusion of this squad is batsman Junaid Siddique. He has been dropped because of his poor performance in the recently concluded Zimbabwe series.

Shahadat Hossain has got his call in the national squad after a long time. Selectors have selected him in the 18-man squad for the three ODIs.

All rounder, Elias Sunny, is the only uncapped player in the squad. He impressed the selectors showing his performance in the recently concluded BCB Cup. He was named in both T20I and ODI squad.

Cricket fans will be surprised to see the inclusion of all rounder, Alok Kapali. He last played his ODI match against Australia on April 13, 2011.
