The well-known Indian actor, Amitabh Bachchan, is going to make his debut in Hollywood with ‘The Great Gatsby’. In this film, he will be seen acting alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. Other actors are Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan.
It is said that Amitabh Bachchan will play an important role in this film. He will play the role of Meyer Wolfsheim who is shadowy gambler and troublemaker.
Leonardo DiCaprio will play the lead role named Gatsby while Tobey Maguire will play the Nick Carraway character. Other two important characters- Daisy and Tom Buchannan will be played by Carey Mulligan and Joel Edgerton.
The Great Gatsby has been taken from a famous novel of the same name written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. It will be made by Baz Luhrmann. So far, it has been adopted four times for cinema.
Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures already announced the beginning of production of this film. The film is expected to be released next year.
It is interesting to see Amitabh Bachchan making his debut in Hollywood. His fans should eagerly wait to see this film. Big B has spent four decades in Indian film industry.
